ObedienceBefore ascending to his Father, Jesus left his disciples with what is known as the "great commission." It is most fully recounted in Matthew 28:18–20. The most familiar part is found in the first two verses:

And Jesus came and said to them, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit
